Ideas Rule The World
IDEAS RULE THE WORLD!
A father once sat his teenage son down for a brief talk, he asked his
son “Do you know how the world was made?” the son, a little surprised to hear
that kind of a question from his father, and because he had been taught the
story of creation right from the time he was in nursery school, and also at
Sunday school in church, he answered his father; of course dad, “in the
beginning God created the heavens and the earth, and all the trees, animals,
rivers, mountains and everything we see. The teenager went on and on then
stopped when he said “and God rested on the seventh day”. His father smiled, is
that all on how the world was made? Asked his father, yes that’s all replied
the teenager confidently. His father sighed and then started; son, did you know
that creation was first conceived in the heart and mind of God himself before
it became a reality? His son looked on, not knowing where his father was going,
the whole of creation, his father continued, was an idea of God, He nurtured it and it
became a reality. That seemingly small idea brought to reality all that you
see, including yourself. The son then started to get the picture then said, so
dad, it means that through an idea the world was created, it also means that
ideas will help us to maintain and to develop our world. That’s right son, his
father remarked.
An idea brought the world to reality, through ideas, our world is
beautified, through ideas our needs are met, through ideas, machines are built
to improve on things, transportation, through ideas policies and laws to govern
people and help us live harmoniously and peacefully. The human mind is a major
production center; one can say that it is the production center where all other
production centers evolve from, all we see and touch, all the tangible
were all once ideas.
On another note, I can say that the intangible brings forth the tangible,
meaning that whatever we see, appraise, adore either for its beauty,
brilliance, comfort, durability, intelligence, size, speed and strength are all
products of ideas. Therefore, its proper to say that in every sphere of life,
ideas bring forth the best there is or there is to be, placing ideas on a
higher level than manpower (physical strength) and cash power (financial
strength), though all these supporting strikers are important in
the wheel of progress and development, they must all be hinged on ideas,
proving ideas to be the fulcrum of development and the major connection between
what is already available and what is yet to be available. All the money in the
world would be useless without ideas on how to invest and spend.
