(Anonymous) According to the Concise Oxford English Dictionary, Marriage is the “ Combination of Elements ”. COMBINATION: The Act of bringing together elements with individually distinct characteristics. ELEMENT: An important basic constituent part of something complicated like a system or plan These elements may be similar or dissimilar with similar or dissimilar traits and characteristics. To marry things together (according to the Concise Oxford English Dictionary) means to “ Harmoniously Combine ”. HARMONIOUS: To form a Pleasing or Consistent whole, free from conflict. From the two, we can come up with a “combined” meaning of Marriage being the “ Harmonious ( Melodious, Sweet, Pleasant, In-Agreement ) Combination of Elements ”.
